The Nautical Club Rodeira, of Cangas do Morrazo, is a reference in the Galician sport. It offers its services as a marina and its activity is particularly oriented to the promotion of sailing and canoeing.
In addition to obtaining outstanding results in different nautical competitions, the club directs part of its efforts to introducing those who wish into the practice of these sports. The Club Rodeira organises frequent training courses and keeps sailing and canoeing schools active. Both are located in a space of four hundred square meters that the council has provided and that includes gym, showers and changing rooms.
The club was formed in 1982 by a group of sea lovers who were looking for the best way to organising themselves to live their passion and make things easier for fans in the area. The association soon won the support of the companies and the Cangas institutions, and its philosophy and good work have been worth several acknowledgments throughout these years.
In addition to having the prize for the Best Cangas Sports Club in 2013, the Rodeira Club holds the Q for Tourism Quality, a distinction awarded by the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality and which the entity has received twice.
Revi Group collaborates with the club in its work as a leisure and sports center and in its constant promotion and training activities.
